Experienced Vet Tech

This position includes everything from answering phones, making appointments, checking clients in and out, accept payments, educate clients of the products we sell, obtain medical records from other hospitals, enter patient histories, daily reminder calls, follow up phone calls, faxing.

Primary Responsibilities:  Assist the doctor in examinations with safe animal handling and restraint. Clean the exam room’s in-between appointments quickly and efficiently, medication and treatment administration including orally, subcutaneously and intramuscularly, safe animal handling and restraint, setting up diagnostic testing, Idexx BW machines, snap, fecals, UA, phlebotomy, catheter placement, digital radiography and developing, prepping surgical patients, intubation, assisting in surgery, monitoring recovering patients,scrubbing surgical packs, autoclaving, laundry, cleaning cages, general stocking & cleaning of the hospital.
