Essential Job Functions

  • Hands on and deployment experience on Devices like FortiGate, Forti-switch, Forti[1]Ap’s, Ruckus Controller and Ruckus AP’s, Windows, Dells, etc.
  • Providing support for our local IT regional team regarding Firewalls, LAN switches, access-points, wireless scanners, printers, etc.
  • Working knowledge of BGP, DMVPN, IPSEC, SDWAN, Forti-NAC, Forti-client VPN, etc
  • Working experience troubleshooting various ISPs and metro infrastructures
  • Monitoring tools including Wireshark, Datadog and SevOne
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet a business requirement with a technical solution.
  • Utilizing traditional and creative methods to develop enterprise data, voice, and video networks.
  • Managing secure transfer of data to multiple locations by way of internal and external networks
  • Consistent documentation skills using Visio to detail all facets of the network and its remote locations.
  • Working on daily tickets using our Jira ticketing system
  • Work On-call rotation Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
  • Other duties assigned

Physical Requirements

  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, some light lifting may be required in some instances.
  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment

Education & Experience

  • 3+years’ experience in related IT infrastructure
  • Network Administrator experience required.

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Communication, presentation, and effective client interaction ability
  • Desired skills include an understanding of networking such as switching, routing, firewalls.
  • Must be able to communicate in English.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

  • Professional certification may be required in some areas
