The schedule for this position is Monday thru Friday 4AM until work is completed. May require early start times based on business needs.

Position Summary:

Manages the meat cutters, wrappers and packers to ensure efficient and effective meat processing while meeting work order specifications and customer preferences. Also, responsible for meeting all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards and maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Supervise associates to include, but not limited to: staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution
  • Coordinate team's efforts to ensure efficient and effective meat cutting, wrapping and packing process
  • Review work schedule and oversee the perform safety check on equipment, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations
  • Oversee the general housekeeping duties ensuring clean and sanitary equipment and work area; maintaining and abiding by safety and quality regulations and standards
  • Assist meat cutters, wrappers, packers and sanitizers, as needed
  • At the end of the shift, secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork and reports
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

2 - 4 years of Meat operations include meat cutting, wrapping and packing with team lead or supervisory experience
