Grab & Go Clerk

Our Deli Department is seeking a friendly, organized Grab & Go Clerk to help prepare, package, and stock freshly made items for our customers. This role ensures our shelves are consistently filled with high-quality, attractive, and properly labeled foods that reflect our stores commitment to freshness and exceptional service. (Two shifts available: AM and PM)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package Grab & Go items such as salads, sandwiches, sides, and ready-to-eat meals following store recipes and portion guidelines

• Label all products accurately, including ingredients, allergens, dates, and pricing

• Stock and rotate all packaged items, ensuring shelves remain full, clean, and visually appealing

• Monitor product quality, freshness, and expiration dates; remove and report any out-of-date or damaged items

• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, following all food safety and hygiene standards

• Assist with basic prep tasks such as slicing, mixing, assembling, and weighing ingredients

• Provide courteous and efficient customer service when answering questions or locating items

• Support deli team during busy periods with light duties as needed (e.g., restocking supplies, organizing display cases)

Qualifications

• Prior food handling or retail experience preferred but not required

• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety protocols

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality

• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 2530 lbs

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Weekend and holiday availability may be required
