We are expanding and seeking a knowledgeable, people-focused Service Drive Retention Director to help us strengthen customer relationships and identify trade-in opportunities within the service department.
About the Role:In this position, youll oversee our retention and acquisition tools, work with service and sales leaders, and make sure were using the service lane to its full potential . Youll collaborate closely with our team and have the support and continued training you need to succeed.
The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable talking with customers and staff. If you have experience using acquisition/retention software , enjoy working with customer data, and understand how trade-ins and upgrade programs work, we would like to speak with you!

Key Responsibilities:
- Use equity-mining, acquisition, and retention software to identify upgrade and trade-in opportunities
- Work with Service Advisors and Sales Managers to connect customers with the right options
- Communicate with service guests and past customers about available upgrade paths
- Help maintain simple, effective processes for follow-up and retention outreach
- Track basic metrics related to customer retention and acquisition efforts
- Support team members with software usage, reporting, and best practices
- Look for opportunities to improve customer experience in the service drive
Qualifications:
- Experience with automotive acquisition, retention, or equity-mining software (AutoAlert, Elead, VIN Solutions, etc.)
- Understanding of vehicle acquisition , trade-ins, or automotive upgrade programs
- Comfortable working with customer data and tracking performance
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Automotive dealership experience preferred
- Organized, proactive, and able to work with multiple departments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid in-state driver's license and insurance
- High school diploma or GED
