General Practice Veterinarian (Veterinarian)

Our client is a progressive companion animal hospital based in Morehead City, North Carolina, seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This established three-doctor practice is dedicated to providing high-quality care through advanced services, a supportive environment, and strong client relationships. The hospital is equipped with modern facilities and is proud of its long-standing reputation in the community.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am until 5:00pm. Doctor hours are typically 9:00am until 1:00pm and 3:00pm until 4:30pm. This position can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis, with flexible scheduling to support work-life balance. There are no weekend hours required.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a wide range of services, including preventive care, general medicine, dentistry, advanced soft tissue surgery, urgent care, and client education. The hospital is seeking a compassionate doctor who values collaboration and communication and is dedicated to delivering individualized care to every patient. Experience is preferred, but new graduates seeking mentorship are strongly encouraged to apply.

Practice Details
This modern facility includes four exam rooms and is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment tools, including digital radiology, ultrasound, electrocardiography, and K-laser therapy. Services offered include wellness care, vaccinations, surgery, dentistry, urgent care, in-house diagnostics, parasite prevention, senior pet care, nutritional counseling, boarding, grooming, microchipping, and end-of-life counseling. Team

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
