Dental Hygienist

Thank you for taking the time to consider our office! We are looking for a Part-Time or Full-Time Dental Hygienist. We are a private dental office with no DSO affiliations. We take pride in delivering honest quality care without upselling unnecesary services.

Responsibilities

• Providing a comfortable and safe experience for patients
• Gathering initial assessment information including preliminary charting, required radiographs, perio charting and intra oral photos
• Diagnose and treat a patient’s periodontal condition via debridement, prophylaxis or nonsurgical periodontal therapy
• Administer local anesthesia
• Administer nitrous oxide
• Compliant with OSHA, HIPPA and infection control protocols
• Provide oral health education consistent with current guidelines and research
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
• Monitor supplies
• Maintain an active unrestricted license
• Pursue continuing education to improve skill set and patient experience

Skills

• Excellent communication to better assist patients and work effectively with the team
• Acquiring radiographs including Panoramic, FMX, PA’s and Bitewings
• Proficient use with practice management software (training provided)
• Performing hygiene procedures to the highest clinical standard.

Certifications

• Active unrestricted Minnesota Hygiene license
• Current BLS certification
