Program Coordinator, State Liaison

Location: Ohio

Hybrid 1: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. The Program Coordinator, State Liaison manages the development, approval, implementation and compliance of on-going external client facing programs; ensures program meets its stated objectives; provides subject matter expertise in response to day to day business issues.

How you will make an impact:

  • Researches applicable subject matter practices and remains aware of industry trends. Integrates industry best practices and innovative solutions into program offerings.
  • Manages relationships and partners with corporate and regional business areas; coordinates training related to the external client facing program; develops program success measures and performs periodic assessments of external client facing program success.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships that enhance program execution and success.
  • Perform periodic assessments of program success and recommend improvements where necessary.
  • Oversee program management responsibilities for state regulatory reporting.
  • Management of state escalated and ad-hoc deliverables to ensure timely resolution.
  • Oversee administrative duties for managing staff access to state systems.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 3 years experience in external client facing program management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Masters degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in program management, ideally within a state regulatory facing role is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of state regulatory environments is highly preferred.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments is highly preferred.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to present information clearly to diverse stakeholders is highly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in managed care with Medicaid Plan implementation is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities is highly preferred.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced work environments and changing program demands is highly preferred.
  • Project Management experience is highly preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $70,880 - $106,320
