Shop Floor Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering strategy, operations, and performance to ensure quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Streamline engineering processes and workflows, driving continuous improvement and optimization initiatives.
• Oversee reporting, KPIs, and documentation to support data-driven decision making.
• Recruit, develop, mentor, and evaluate engineering staff while fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration, and growth.
• Strengthen partnerships with vendors and collaborate closely with leadership, sales, and operations teams.
• Support organizational goals by aligning engineering activities with financial, operational, and strategic objectives.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and high-performing work environment.
• Execute monthly improvement plans and support additional duties as needed.

Required Experience:

• High School Diploma required
• Demonstrated experience as a Shop Supervisor or in a similar manufacturing role; experience in aerospace or tight-tolerance machining is preferred.
• At least 3 years of personnel management experience, including resource planning, performance management, and related supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of CNC machine capabilities and limitations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and models; CAD experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to create innovative solutions and apply learning curve principles.
• Self-directed, able to work under pressure, and capable of meeting customer and management deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and effective working both independently and as part of a team.
• Consistently demonstrates professional conduct.
• Minimal travel required.
