Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to support our manufacturing operations focused on critical data center infrastructure. This role will be instrumental in delivering financial insights that drive operational efficiency, support strategic initiatives, and improve commercial finance performance in a fast-paced, high-impact manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates will have 35 years of experience in financial analysispreferably in a manufacturing settingand a strong interest in supporting the production of mission-critical systems like power distribution units, enclosures, or thermal management solutions used in modern data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to track project-level cost performance and margin analysis .
  • Partner with sales, operations, and executive leadership to evaluate and improve commercial deal structures , pricing models, and customer profitability.
  • Actively drive contract reviews , focusing on financial terms and risk exposure related to payment terms, incentives, escalation clauses, and penalties. [SP1] [BA2] Work closely with legal, sales, and accounts receivable teams to balance working capital efficiency and customer competitiveness.
  • Develop financial models and business cases for large customer deals, new product introductions, and custom engineered-to-order solutions.
  • Provide financial guidance on margin enhancement opportunities , including customer mix, channel strategy, and cost-to-serve analysis.
  • Drive finance involvement in change order process, working cross functionally to quantify fixed and variable costs incurred as the result of customer change orders.
  • Contribute to strategic pricing initiatives, including competitive benchmarking and value-based pricing strategies for critical data center products.
  • Track and report on key commercial metrics such as backlog conversion, DSO (days sales outstanding), booking trends, and revenue recognition risks.
  • Assist in the development of sales forecasts and scenario analysis to support commercial planning and executive decision-making.
  • Contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance financial systems, tools, and reporting processes .

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 35 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Understanding of cost accounting principles and operational finance fundamentals.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle
  • Ability to synthesize large sets of data and present insights clearly to business partners.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and willingness to learn technical concepts related to data center infrastructure.
