RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recommend solutions for enhancing test manufacturing efficiency.
- Day-to-Day resolutions of manufacturing/test issues encountered during execution
- Leads design and deployment of electrical test fixtures and work instructions.
- Creates and Maintains Process FMEAs and translates them into control plans.
- Tooling, fixturing and assembly-aid design, integration and implementation.
- Lessons-Learned from previous builds or process modifications.
- Design for manufacturing analysis of new designs.
- Investigate, purchase, and support the implementation of tooling and equipment for future strategic initiatives
- Owns the development and maintenance of new/current time standards/routings, and costing.
- Supports safety initiatives.
- Direct documentation of all Test related standard operating procedures within the applicable business area.
- Keep Test Manager informed of progress/problems. Recommends changes in procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BSEE/BSEET in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent degree and a minimum of 2 years experience in high power testing. Other equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of AC and Power Distribution products is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is required
- Strong project management skills required
- Lean & Sig Sigma certifications or equivalents is desired
- Possess advanced experience in plant layout
- Intermediate AutoCAD skills preferred
- Demonstrates high attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication skills with a professional attitude towards customer relations.
- Self-directed, good problem-solving skills.
