Our office, led by Dr. Kono and Dr. Vanzina, formerly Palo Alto Dental Group, has been serving the community for over 27 years with a conservative philosophy and personalized care. Daily Responsibilities:

•  Be punctual.  Adjust to the office schedule and run on time.
•  Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal charting
• Provide oral hygiene instruction to patients
• Administer fluoride treatments and sealants
• Conduct scaling & root planing procedures
• Use of antimicrobial agents, Perio Protect, and prescription toothpastes
• Review medical history and understand issues pertinent to hygiene
• Be proactive in identifying hard and soft tissue conditions that may require further treatment
• Be an avid learner! Be the best source of education for your patients.
• Be supportive of your colleagues and the dentists at our practice.

Required Skills:

• Registered Dental Hygienist certification
• Experience with digital X-rays, Itero scan, IO camera, and basic computer and phone skills
• Knowledge of preventive care and treatment planning
• Excellent at communication
• Proficiency in local anesthesia
• CPR/BLS certification
• (X-Ray Certified)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in periodontics and anesthesia
• Familiarity with X-rays and chairside assisting
• Knowledge of Ascend Denatl software

Salary and Benefits:

• Minimum Salary: $124,800.00
• Maximum Salary: $156,000.00
