What You'll Do
- Provide counseling on prescriptions, relay pertinent information for customers to be confidence with at-home use of medication
- Accurately perform all necessary steps of workflow and efficiently to ensure customers receive error-free products
- Continuously strive for efficiency and seek improvement opportunities
- Identify barriers to achieve goals, and escalate issues when appropriate
- Comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations; ensure company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures are followed
- Verify potential licensing in any state Wegmans does business
- Keep current on company wellness initiatives and ensure consistency and execution
- Travel as required based on business needs
Required Certifications
- Pharmacist State License-APhA-American Pharmacists Association
- Certified Pharmacist Immunizer-AphA-American Pharmacists Association
Required Education
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
