As a Digital Architect within our Strategic Architecture team, you'll help shape how Sanofi connects its global digital ecosystem. You'll lead the move from legacy, file-based integrations to modern API and event-driven architectures, creating the patterns, frameworks, and platforms that enable seamless connectivity across the enterprise. Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the definition of next-generation architecture patterns and reference architectures, driving consistency and modernization across the enterprise

  • Design and establish enterprise integration patterns that enable the shift from file-based to API and event-driven architectures, improving interoperability and reducing complexity

  • Architect and evolve a standardized integration framework that accelerates delivery, promotes reuse, and ensures scalable, secure connectivity across systems and teams

  • Ensure solution designs meet enterprise standards for scalability, resilience, security, and compliance while promoting simplification and reuse

  • Collaborate with business and technology leaders to translate integration needs into scalable, future-ready architectural solutions

  • Mentor and guide teams on integration best practices, patterns, and technologies to build capability and ensure consistent implementation

  • Continuously assess the integration and technology landscape to identify opportunities for optimization, consolidation, and innovation that drive business value

  • Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader, promoting architectural excellence and innovation across the organization

About You

Experience:

  • Over 10 years of proven experience in architecture, with deep expertise in enterprise integration patterns, API design, and event-driven architecture

  • Strong background delivering scalable solution designs across complex enterprise environments

Soft and technical skills:

  • Skilled at guiding cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels

  • Exceptional at translating complex technical concepts into clear business value and outcomes

  • Strong facilitator, experienced in leading collaborative design sessions and workshops with diverse stakeholders

  • Hands-on experience with integration platforms such as TIBCO BusinessWorks, MuleSoft, Informatica Cloud, or similar technologies

  • Expertise in enterprise messaging systems (TIBCO EMS, RabbitMQ) and event streaming platforms (Kafka)

  • Proficient with API gateways and API security standards

  • Knowledge of enterprise file transfer solutions (Axway TransferCFT and related)

  • Experience integrating cloud services and platforms, particularly AWS data services (S3, Lambda, Glue)

  • Strong understanding of data integration patterns, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipeline architectures

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to the pharmaceutical industry, including GxP, SOX, and data privacy

Education:

  • Bachelors required, Masters preferred

  • Professional certifications in relevant technologies, cloud platforms, or architecture frameworks preferred

Languages:

  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
