Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive general practice care within a busy and well-established environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Tuesday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays. The ideal schedule for this full-time position includes four weekdays with rotating Saturdays. Specific doctor hours are open to discussion.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will have full general practice responsibilities. This role is suited for an experienced veterinarian ready to contribute clinical expertise across all aspects of patient care.
Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and features advanced diagnostic capabilities including a complete Idexx in-house blood testing lab for rapid results, digital and dental radiography, electrocardiograms, Tonovet glaucoma testing, blood pressure measurement, dermatological diagnostics, and gastrointestinal endoscopy. Cardiac and abdominal ultrasounds, as well as ultrasound-guided biopsies, are available by appointment with an ACVIM boarded internist. House call appointments are also offered. Services include dental care, emergency medicine, pain management, surgical services, internal medicine, and wellness care.
Team
The hospital team consists of five DVMs, two Licensed Veterinary Technicians each with over 30 years of industry experience, six assistants, and seven client service representatives. The practice also has access to a board-certified surgeon, supporting a collaborative and well-resourced working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
