Credential School Nurse (CSN) Pediatric School Nurse - Full Time

Overview:

• In-person
• San Diego - Escondido, Vista, Oceanside
• Mon - Fri (Full Time)
• Starting at 49$
• Start Date: Dec 1st

Responsibilities:

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions (eg, asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents
• Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)

Additional Requirements:

• Authorized to perform Audiometric services
• Assist in development and oversight of health plans for students enrolled in school (IEPs)

Qualifications:

• California state RN license
• Valid School Nurse Services Credential
• Must Be Okay With Trachs
• CPR/BLS certification
• Current negative TB result
