Supports Procurement Consultants, Procurement Specialists, and Category Managers in the execution of sourcing and contracting initiatives. Supports analytical work including but not limited to: spend analytics, market complexity, data collection, performance metrics, risk considerations, pricing, total cost of ownership, demand planning, and reporting. What You'll Do:
This role will contribute to the Contract Labor Program.
Monitor and maintain contract supplier services for the Contract Labor Program within AEP's Corporate Procurement.
Plan and coordinate intermediate-level procurement initiatives related to the Contract Labor Program.
Serve as the procurement liaison and be the point of contact between the program suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with all staffing agencies and suppliers.
Participate in the evaluation of service performance, supplier quality, and pricing structure are at an optimal level.
Support day-to-day program activities while utilizing the vendor management system.
Examples of such activities include:
Address pricing questions/issues
Address questions/concerns related to the terms of the program agreement
Consult with hiring managers regarding the business requirements of the position
Communicate benefits of the program to the business units
Educate stakeholders and hiring managers on the program and associated processes
Coordinate position-testing requirements
Run reports
Enforce program compliance
Work with AEP Accounts Payable on program invoice issues, while minimizing future invoice discrepancies
Facilitate change management regarding strategic initiatives and relationship building efforts among suppliers, internal stakeholders, and Procurement.
Activities will include:
Identify and help remediate systemic issues with program performance
Conduct educational sessions related to the program structure and processes
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities for program users
What We're Looking For:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, finance, supply chain, or other related field; Or 4 years of relevant work experience.
Experience: In addition to any experience required above, 3 years of relevant customer service and/or procurement experience required .
Additional Expectations:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills desired.
Familiarity with Maximo and Cognos preferred.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) desired with an ability to communicate with business partners, stakeholders, and suppliers.
What You'll Get:
$80,000.00-$90,000.00 (USD)/Annually
