A corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Chatham, Virginia.

This position offers a Monday-Friday schedule, either 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or four 10-hour days, with no call. Credentialing takes approximately two weeks. The role is open to MDs or autonomous NPs and involves managing 18-20 adult patients per day. Required credentials include a VA license and DEA. Support staff includes RNs and LPNs, and documentation is paper-based with Sapphire used for prescriptions. The ideal candidate is comfortable providing adult primary care in a structured outpatient setting.
