We are seeking an experienced Specialized Analyst for a full-time position to join our team. This role focuses on supporting the Office of Information Technology's Disaster Recovery Unit in analyzing, creating, and documenting Recovery Plans for mission-essential systems. The position is hybrid in New Jersey.
What You'll Do
Support the Disaster Recovery team in analyzing and creating Disaster Recovery Plans for critical systems impacting various public and private sectors
Perform client engagement work associating technologies with business processes identified through meetings with internal IT teams, agency partners, and management
Document the relationships between business impact analysis, risk assessments , and meetings with business owners
What You'll Need
2 years experience conducting business impact analysis
2 years prior experience working within the lifecycle of Disaster Recovery
1 year experience with hot/cold/warm sites
2 years experience conducting backup assessments
Strong knowledge of business continuity management principles, procedures, techniques, and disaster response
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation, facilitation, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
