Couey’s Advanced Telecommunications Venture, LLC (Couey’s CATV) is looking to hire Fiber Jetters

This is a full-time traveling position. We have ongoing projects starting in Virgina going to Pennsylvania and Missouri.

Hourly pay plus per diem. Travel to and from home is paid for. Work will be 6 weeks on and 1 week off. We also offer insurance, PTO and paid holidays. We are willing to train if you are willing to learn!

Traveling full-time for work is VERY difficult. Do not apply if you're not up to the task.

Fiber Jetting is an air-assisted installation method used in underground fiber optic cable installations. Unlike air-blown installations, which float the cable within the conduit using compressed air, jetting utilises a parachute or cable carrier to pull the cable into the conduit. This process of fiber optic installation is typically used on long-haul jobs where there is a greater distance between handholes.

Requirements;

• Valid references

• Valid Driver's License

• Pass a Drug Screen and DOT Physical

• Able to work in small spaces

• Able to climb in and out of handholes / manholes

• Able to lift 75 lbs

• Willing to travel 100% of the time
