Location : Clayton Oaks Living, an Assisted Living with Memory Care senior community

Pay Rate : $15.50/hour

Shifts Available : 6a-2p/2p-10p/10p-6a

PRN shifts available

Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in performing tasks beyond routine resident care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitor residents' responses, and adhere to community infection control policies.
  • Assist residents with medications as outlined in medication procedures and supervise those who self-administer.
  • Maintain residents records daily, documenting medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, observations, and any changes in residents' conditions.
  • Write weekly/monthly summaries addressing issues identified in service plans.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the medicine supply room.
  • Receive and manage reports on all residents.
  • Count controlled substances with outgoing RMAs, ensuring accuracy before accepting keys.
  • Provide direct resident care as described in the Resident Assistant Job Description.
  • Follow proper procedures in emergencies and respond promptly to resident requests for assistance.
  • Promote teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers.
  • Attend all required in-service training sessions.
  • Be an active member of the communitys emergency response team.
  • Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene in line with company policies.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors.
  • Delegation by a Registered Nurse for medication administration.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
