As Vice President of Human Resources, You Will:
- Recruit, train, and manage HR leadership staff while overseeing daily departmental operations.
- Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategy with the organization's long-term mission and goals.
- Develop and evaluate key performance indicators to measure HR effectiveness and market competitiveness.
- Design and implement competitive compensation, benefits, and performance management programs.
- Provide guidance on complex employee relations, compensation, and compliance matters.
- Ensure adherence to all employment laws, safety standards, and organizational policies.
- Prepare and manage the HR department and staffing budgets.
- Stay current on HR best practices and participate in professional development initiatives.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Strong leadership and conflict-resolution skills with a collaborative approach.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail and effective time management.
- Proven ability to analyze complex issues and develop sound solutions.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing performance.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related HR software systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required,
- Masters or law degrees are highly preferred.
- At least ten years of human resource management experience required, with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred
