Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pharmacist to lead training and development initiatives across a regional network. This role emphasizes mentorship, technology standardization, and continuous improvement to enhance clinical excellence and operational efficiency in a Long-Term Care pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead onboarding and ongoing training for pharmacists across the region.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to build confidence and clinical excellence.
  • Develop practical training tools and workshops to reinforce consistency.
  • Promote a collaborative, patient-centered culture across all shifts and locations.
  • Support pharmacists in leadership development and career growth.
  • Foster teamwork and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Align training initiatives with operational goals in partnership with department leaders.
  • Ensure training materials reflect current industry standards and internal policies.
  • Coordinate training during new site launches, process changes, or expansions.
  • Train pharmacists on pharmacy systems including FrameworkLTC and FrameworkECM.
  • Standardize workflows to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Support the rollout and adoption of new technologies and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with leadership to assess training effectiveness.
  • Identify retraining needs and recommend program enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all training activities and in-services.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with FrameworkLTC and FrameworkECM.
  • Active Pharmacist license in the State of Ohio.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Long-Term Care pharmacy.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable leading group sessions.
  • Willingness to travel regionally (4060%).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in training, preceptorship, or departmental education preferred.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align training programs to business goals.
  • Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (BCGP) or completion of LTC-focused continuing education is a plus.
Work Environment

This role requires travel within Ohio, Michigan, Virginia, and Kentucky, with Ohio being the midpoint. Work may vary depending on travel assignments and involves working in a Closed-Door Pharmacy setting. This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $128000.00 - $141000.00/yr.

PTO, 2.31hrs/wk, 3 weeks total in the year.
Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, 1%-0.25% match, 2%-0.50% match, 3%-0.75% match, 4%-1.00% match. Cap at 1.00%.
