Akkodis is seeking a Salesforce Developer for a Contract job with a client in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, and Force.com APIs. This role involves full lifecycle development and integration within a collaborative, cross-functional team.

Rate Range: $56.81/hour to $71.97/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Salesforce Developer job responsibilities include:

  • Develop high-quality code using Force.com APIs, Apex triggers and classes, Visualforce pages, and Force.com Sites.

  • Build custom solutions using Visualforce, Apex, AJAX, and other Salesforce technologies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.

  • Participate in all phases of the SDLC - Define, Design, Develop, and Deploy.

  • Analyze business and technical requirements, specifications, and process maps.

  • Ensure high-quality software implementation aligned with Salesforce best practices.

  • Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on engineering standards.

  • Liaise with technical and business teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • 6-8+ years of experience in Salesforce development.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, and Force.com APIs.

  • Experience with Salesforce integration and toolkit usage.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Pay Details: $56.81 to $71.97 per hour
