Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and is closed on weekends, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Both full-time and part-time scheduling options are available, with flexibility tailored to each veterinarian's individual preferences and lifestyle. There are no after-hours or on-call requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical and surgical care across a range of services, including wellness, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, emergency care, and end-of-life support. The role involves building trusting relationships with clients, performing comprehensive examinations, and developing tailored treatment plans. New graduates are encouraged to apply and will benefit from structured mentorship through the hospitalls support systems in place.

Practice Details
The hospital is a spacious, custom-built facility designed for smooth workflow and optimal patient care. It features modern diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, including ultrasound, laser therapy, laser surgery, and an endoscopy/rhinoscopy unit. The hospital culture emphasizes collaboration, compassion, and continual improvement. The clinic also partners closely with its sister location in Pearisburg, Virginia, providing additional opportunities for collaboration and learning.

Team
The hospital currently has a team of two experienced DVMs and a skilled support team dedicated to maintaining excellent patient care and a positive workplace culture. The environment is mentorship-driven and team-oriented, offering an excellent learning experience for new graduates and a collaborative atmosphere for seasoned clinicians. The Practice Manager is highly focused on team building, communication, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
