General Practice Veterinarian (Veterinarian)

Our client is a veterinary hospital in Germantown, Maryland, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated and compassionate team. This opportunity is open to doctors of all experience levels, with strong mentorship available for new graduates. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Tuesday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Wednesday from 10:00am to 3:00pm for administrative tasks only, Thursday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Friday alternating between 8:00am to 12:00pm or 8:00am to 5:00pm. The practice is closed on weekends and there is no on-call requirement, allowing for excellent work-life balance. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to cats and dogs, with a focus on preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, and client education. Clinical responsibilities may include routine wellness care, spay/neuter, more advanced surgical procedures, pain management, laser therapy, and end-of-life care. This role is open to both new graduates seeking mentorship and experienced veterinarians looking for a supportive and collaborative practice.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
