Introduction
Our client is a boutique small animal clinic seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital provides personalized and compassionate care for pets, with a strong focus on building lasting relationships with clients. Dogs and cats are the primary patients, and the practice offers a wide range of services including wellness care, surgery, dentistry, grooming, and urgent care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on weekends. This position can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis, with flexibility to support work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes responsibilities across general medicine, wellness, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care, with a focus on low-stress handling and individualized treatment. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with strong mentorship available to support career development.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with diagnostic laboratory testing, x-ray facilities, and a full surgical suite, alongside services such as wellness and preventive care, vaccinations, hospitalization, spay/neuter, dental care, microchipping, behavior counseling, flea, tick and heartworm prevention, euthanasia, day boarding, and grooming. The culture emphasizes calm, intentional care and low-stress handling, ensuring a supportive and patient-focused environment.

Team
The hospital is home to two veterinarians supported by a dedicated team. The workplace is collaborative and team-oriented, with mentorship opportunities available for new graduates.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
