Our client is a full-service animal hospital located in Marietta, Georgia, seeking a full-time Medical Director to lead their experienced and compassionate team. The hospital provides high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats, serving the local community with a strong focus on excellence, innovation, and compassionate service. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and is closed on weekends, allowing for an excellent work-life balance. This is a full-time position with no after-hours or on-call requirements.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will provide both clinical expertise and leadership to ensure the delivery of outstanding veterinary care. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, surgeries, and dental procedures, as well as overseeing the medical team to maintain the highest standards of patient care. The role combines hands-on clinical work with mentoring and strategic guidance, promoting a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and compassionate service. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
