General Practice Veterinarian (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This established practice provides care for feline and canine patients, delivering comprehensive primary and urgent care services. The Associate Veterinarian will work within a collaborative, supportive environment, focusing on providing high-quality veterinary care while benefiting from strong operational and clinical support.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, and closed on Sundays. This position is offered on a part-time basis, with flexibility available to accommodate different schedules.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will perform thorough exams, illness management, spay and neuter procedures, surgeries, diagnostics, vaccinations, dental care, and urgent care cases. The role involves working collaboratively with support staff and other veterinarians to provide excellent patient care. This position is suitable for veterinarians with experience but is also open to motivated newer graduates. The veterinarian will be expected to contribute to a positive team culture and provide high-quality, hands-on care in all aspects of clinical medicine.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a full range of services, including urgent care, diagnostics, spay and neuter, surgery, illness exams, kitten and puppy care, vaccinations, dental cleaning and health, X-rays, peaceful passing and grief support, and an in-house pharmacy. The facility is newly built and fully equipped, supporting efficient and thorough veterinary care with modern tools and technology. The practice emphasizes a collaborative, team-oriented culture and prioritizes compassionate care for patients and their owners.

Team
The hospital has two DVMs supported by a skilled team of veterinary professionals. The environment is collaborative and welcoming, with a focus on teamwork, mentorship, and professional growth. Support staff manage much of the hands-on patient care and client communication, allowing veterinarians to focus primarily on medical responsibilities.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
