Our client is a multi-doctor veterinary practice located in Raleigh, North Carolina, hiring for the position of Associate Veterinarian. This well-established clinic has been serving its community since 1988 and is known for delivering compassionate, personalized care for cats and dogs. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates looking to grow in a supportive and modern clinical environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30am to 7:00pm, and Saturday from 9:00am to 2:00pm. The role offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time employment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering a wide range of clinical services, including preventative care, surgery, dental care, behavior and nutrition consultations, and end-of-life services. This is a comprehensive role that allows veterinarians to engage in various aspects of small animal medicine in a supportive setting. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The practice operates from a recently refurbished 12,000 sq. ft. facility, equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment tools including x-ray, ultrasound, electrocardiograph, urinalysis, and more. Additional amenities include boarding services. The clinic provides a high-quality, general practice caseload and promotes continuous learning and professional development.
Team
The current team includes two doctors and a dedicated group of support staff. The working culture is collaborative and supportive, emphasizing teamwork and mentorship to ensure both patients and staff receive the care and guidance they need to succeed.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
