Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their well-established and highly respected practice in Fremont, CA. This full-service and emergency clinic treats dogs, cats, and small companion animals including rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and rats/mice. The hospital is growing and looking to welcome an additional doctor to its dedicated team.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is closed on Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a diverse caseload, including wellness and preventative care, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dental care, diagnostics, and emergency cases. The role is open to experienced veterinarians as well as new graduates, with mentorship readily available.
Practice Details
The hospital is clean, organized, and equipped with advanced technology including digital x-rays, ultrasound imaging, and in-house blood testing. Services offered include preventative care, surgery, dental care, diagnostics, laser therapy, pain management, behavior therapy, oncology, boarding, and access to a comprehensive online pharmacy. Emergency services are available six days a week, and the clinic is known for its exceptional customer service and strong community reputation.
Team
The team includes four DVMs, multiple veterinary technicians and assistants, all working together in a collaborative and supportive environment. The practice fosters mentorship and professional growth, making it an ideal setting for both experienced doctors and those at the beginning of their veterinary careers.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
