Our client is a specialty and emergency referral hospital in San Juan Capistrano, California seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency services for cats and dogs in a collaborative and supportive environment, with both full-time overnight and part-time day shift opportunities available.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open 7 days a week, providing 24/7 emergency services. This role includes full-time overnight and part-time day shift schedules.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will provide urgent and critical care for cats and dogs, managing life-threatening conditions and complex cases. Clinical duties include emergency medicine, diagnostics, and treatment in collaboration with board-certified specialists. This role requires a veterinarian dedicated to high-quality medicine and compassionate client communication.

Practice Details
The hospital is a state-of-the-art, 10,000 sq. foot facility built in 2010. It features a large intensive care unit, special procedure rooms, and advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including a CT scanner, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, Doppler ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and extensive monitoring equipment. Additional capabilities include endoscopy, laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, and long-term ventilation. The hospital offers specialty and emergency services designed to deliver the highest standard of veterinary care.

Team
The practice has 5 DVMs supported by a highly trained technical staff, including multiple registered veterinary technicians. The environment is collaborative, supportive, and focused on both patient care and professional fulfillment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
