General Practice Veterinarian (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital located in Citrus Heights, California. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team and contribute high-quality veterinary care in a compassionate, client-focused environment.

Hospital Hours
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Saturday coverage is included; Sunday the hospital is closed. The hospital are open to either full-time or part-time applicants.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care including routine exams, vaccinations, diagnostics, internal medicine, dental care, spay/neuter services and general wellness for cats and dogs. The role involves working with the hospital team to deliver effective, client-centred care with integrity and compassion.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a wide spectrum of services for companion animals including routine exams and prevention, diagnostics, internal medicine, dental care, spay/neuter, and surgery. Their atmosphere emphasises quality, integrity, compassion and service, treating pets as if they were their own.

Team
The hospital has two veterinarians supported by a skilled team of technicians, assistants, and client service staff. The environment is caring, professional, and highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on relationship building and delivering personalized care to pets and their families.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
