As a Regional Sales Director (RSD) at Badger Daylighting, you will drive the Regions sales performance for all lines of business by providing sales strategy, leadership, tools, and coordination in partnership with Field Operations Management. The RSD will assist in developing and implementing the Regions sales strategy as well as providing leadership, creativity, and resources to achieve and exceed the Regions sales goals. You will also ensure that corporate sales & marketing initiatives and objectives are fully aligned with National Accounts.

The compensation for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Develops and executes a 2-3-year business plan ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategic plan and immediate managers business plan. Enhances area strategic positioning.
  • Implement Regional sales strategy to increase market share for all our service offerings, expand existing business relationships, and coordinate with VP, Sales to ensure alignment.
  • Actively researches available sources to identify likely prospects based on alignment with Badger services, known business needs, typical customer profiles, business activities, competitive market position, customer challenges, and awareness of a competitive presence for the account
  • Onboard, train, develop, and support the Outside Sales Representatives (OSRs) and Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) to ensure full understanding of our business. Ensure they are set up for success and understand strengths and opportunities for improvement.
  • Report key metrics, successes, and needs through monthly business reviews.
  • Identify and align resources within Region to drive market and account penetration.
  • Own all customer contracts their completeness and accuracy, policy compliance, timely delivery.

What Were Looking For

  • Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of regional account and/or strategic account management or sales experience
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience (construction industry, sales, fleet, etc.)
  • Ability to proactively identify issues and to build mitigation plans, address problems, and create solutions
  • Experience with general office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • The role requires mobility within work environments, use of office equipment, lifting up to 20 pounds, clear vision and hearing, effective communication skills, and occasional travel for meetings and training sessions.
