ResponsibilitiesSummary:
The Product Manager, Kitting is responsible for developing and executing clearly defined marketing and communication strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance brand equity for new and existing kits across the Emergency Medical market. This position requires an individual with strong brand management capabilities, as well as an entrepreneurial mindset.

The Product Manager, Kitting plays a pivotal role in driving strategic growth across the Emergency Medical market by leading the development and execution of innovative product and communication strategies. Through clear, compelling communication and a strong business focus, this position helps elevate Sarnova’s market presence and accelerate portfolio expansion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- P&L Management: Forecast, track and adjust profit and loss statements to ensure that new product and/or channel launches meet financial goals. Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Accounting, and Operations to ensure the accurate tracking and management of revenue, COGS, and marketing spend.
- Portfolio Management & Growth: Drive the evolution and expansion of the kit product portfolio with a growth-focused mindset. Identifying opportunities to optimize the product offering through strategic rationalization of like items, analyzing kit components for performance and market relevance, and expanding the portfolio to meet emerging customer and market needs. Take ownership of product direction, ensuring the right mix, cost structure, and value proposition. Collaborate closely with Regulatory and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with labeling and product requirements while enabling innovation and speed to market.
- Brand Management: Utilize sales data, market data, pricing strategies, customer segmentation and competitive intelligence to identify new opportunities and markets to support the expansion of products and channels that drive revenue streams and build brand equity. Conduct product analysis to measure and report on programs and define targeted opportunities. Direct and develop all tactics and activities that support brand development and growth.
- Marketing Strategy: Develop, present and implement portfolio business plans for private label kit products including management of pricing, go-to-market strategies, and product positioning. Perform market research to uncover customer requirements and report on market opportunities and trends. Create, execute and manage Sarnova marketing programs and materials to include company catalogs, online initiatives, advertising, sales force support materials, trade show marketing efforts, and supplier marketing programs.
- Vendor Relations: Manage external relationships with vendors of private label kits to ensure common vision and strategy. Work with Operations to identify sourcing opportunities and ensure product/component availability. Consult with vendors to identify product opportunities and mange product pipeline. Act as liaison to vendors throughout product life cycle.
- Communication: Lead the development and execution of strategic messaging for private label kits, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and business goals. Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales to create compelling narratives that inspire enthusiasm and drive engagement across teams. Cultivate strong relationships with product manufacturers to support co-branded initiatives and cross-promotional opportunities. Deliver high-impact presentations tailored to diverse audiences—internal stakeholders, leadership, and external partners—demonstrating clarity, influence, and business insight.
- Training and Support: Assist with the development of clinical training programs and product training for the Sales Team and other corporate personnel. Deliver materials both in person and via alternate training methodologies.

Skills/Experience Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; Business or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years in a value-added distribution industry or B2B environment
- Proven experience in product/category management, including positioning, customer segmentation, pricing, and go-to-market strategies preferred
- Direct experience with brand development, kit creation, and product labeling is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and contribute to business growth through innovative product and program development
