Responsibilities of a Compliance Training Coordinator

  • Coordinate all stages of the onboarding process for new security officers, including background checks, drug screenings, licensing, and training documentation.

  • Review and verify completion of new hire paperwork, I-9 forms, and other required compliance documents.

  • Communicate with candidates to assist with questions, clarify onboarding steps, and provide updates on hiring status.

  • Work closely with recruiters, HR, and operations teams to ensure timely start dates and smooth handoffs to site management.

  • Maintain accurate records of onboarding progress within HRIS or applicant tracking systems.

  • Schedule and facilitate new hire orientations and assist with uniform or equipment coordination if applicable.

  • Audit files regularly to ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and state regulations.

  • Support additional HR administrative duties such as file maintenance, employee transfers, and offboarding as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 13 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or onboarding coordination preferably within the security, staffing, or law enforcement industry .
  • Knowledge of licensing, compliance, and background processes for security officers strongly preferred.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of candidates.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS/ATS platforms.

  • Customer service mindset and professionalism when working with applicants and internal staff.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
