Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team at a private specialty office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. The X-ray Technician will work closely with the physician and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray examinations on patients according to established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure patient safety by following radiation safety guidelines and protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging results, and equipment use.
• Operate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and cleanliness.
• Stay current with advancements in imaging technology and techniques through continuous education.
• Adhere to office policies and procedures regarding patient care and confidentiality.
• Cross-cover with Medical assistant duties.

Experience

• Previous experience as an X-ray Technician in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with sports medicine practices or urgent care settings is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy knowledge is essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.13 - $31.00 per hour
