Uncle Giuseppes Marketplace is looking for a Full-Time Assistant Cheese Manager to join our Cheese Department in our up and coming Greenvale, NY store! Bring your passion for cheese, hands-on experience, and love of customer service to help create an exceptional shopping experience.

Your Role:

• Support a positive customer experience, providing knowledgeable guidance on cheeses, pairings, and seasonal items

• Assist the Cheese Manager with ordering, inventory management, staff schedules, training, and daily operations

• Pack, label, and merchandise cheese and related products according to company policies

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment

• Supervise a team of Cheese Clerks

What Were Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Cheese Department, with at least 1 year as an Assistant Cheese Manager

• Strong understanding of cheese varieties, storage, temperatures, inventory, and flavor profiles

• Excellent customer service skills and a high passion for cheese!

• Highly organized and adaptable to changing priorities

• Fluent in English

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
