Position Overview

Were looking for a motivated Civil Engineer I to support a wide range of exciting civil design projects. This role offers opportunities to collaborate with experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience in developing plans, specifications, and technical solutions for infrastructure and site development projects.

What Youll Do

  • Perform design calculations and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

  • Prepare and review design and construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and permit applications.

  • Collaborate with engineers, CADD technicians, and other team members to deliver high-quality results.

  • Conduct site visits to evaluate project conditions and coordinate with stakeholders.

  • Draft technical reports, design documentation, and project correspondence.

  • Participate in client and agency meetings and professional development events.

What Youll Bring

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (required).

  • 24 years of experience in civil design (consulting or professional services preferred).

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required; PE licensure preferred.

  • Proficiency in Civil 3D; experience with site layout, grading, and utilities design.

  • Familiarity with stormwater design software (HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, or SWMM) preferred.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% (occasionally on short notice).
