Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Grove City, Ohio

Provide expert nursing care by delivering home health services in accordance with physician orders and agency protocols. This role requires a strong ability to assess and manage patient needs while supervising Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses, ensuring quality and compassionate care in the home setting. You will work under the guidance of the Clinical Manager and adhere to state-specific nursing regulations and standards.

Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, updating care plans regularly, and coordinating with physicians to report changes in patient conditions. Effective documentation and communication are key, along with compliance with federal and state home health regulations. The role involves traveling to patient homes, so reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and liability insurance are essential.

Key Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license for the assigned state; Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) eligibility preferred
• Minimum of 2-3 years nursing experience
• Current CPR certification
• Proficient in patient assessment with age-specific considerations
• Strong computer skills including navigating desktop systems, email, and online training platforms
• Experience with supervising and evaluating Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses
• Knowledge of state-specific home health care regulations and standards
• BSN preferred in Illinois jurisdiction
