Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our growing team in Vero Beach, FL!
The Account Executive is responsible for servicing a dedicated book of business as assigned by the office. This would include the production of new lines of business for existing accounts, account management and retention.
How You Will Contribute :
- Manage and retain assigned book of business, and pursue new opportunities for book growth, where appropriate, including development of specific business plan for retention/growth objectives.
- Provide customer relations with all levels of customer decision-makers as well as day-to-day technical client representatives.
- Follow-up to address customer needs and resolve any problems or issues.
- Ensure proper resources within the organization are involved with the customer and introduce new products through the other core business groups, where appropriate.
- Develop and oversee customer service plans for each client, in conjunction with Producer.
- Prepare pre-renewal summaries, evaluate and develop renewal objectives with producer & customer, prepare submissions for renewal marketing, secure quotes for presentation.
- Prepare customer renewal proposals and presentations while ensuring agreement with customer's requests/requirements.
- Promote teamwork and commitment to department/agency goals.
- Follow Agency guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Encourage and motivate team members to achieve or exceed agency standards.
- Maintain and update the AMS360 and ImageRight databases timely and accurately.
- Remain current on industry trends and information, new product development, legislation, coverages and technology.
- Remain up to date with current market conditions and status of competition.
- Perform other assignments as required.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Licensed as an insurance agent; 220 License
Skills & Experience to b e Successful:
- Knowledge of customer service functions such as rating, marketing, claims handling and coverage information.
- Strong commitment to service for the agency's clients.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective and efficient use of computer and related equipment.
- Industry designations are promoted and funded by the agency.
- This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position.
