Our client, a leading organization in the scientific information industry, is seeking a Content Operations Support to join their team. As a Content Operations Support, you will be part of the Bibliographic, Cataloging, and Candidate Title Acquisition teams supporting CAS content expansion efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Content Operations Support

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Pay Range: $23

What's the Job?

  • Identify and correct errors in bibliographic content of electronic documents.
  • Identify and resolve issues with documents that do not pass through the production process.
  • Prepare evaluation packets for newly launched publications for potential inclusion in CAS databases.
  • Create and track orders related to content acquisition and management.
  • Support various projects and perform additional duties as needed to ensure content accuracy and database integrity.

What's Needed?

  • College education is preferred, with relevant experience in library or content management environments.
  • Experience working with a Library Management System or similar database systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with staff and management.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and a solid ability to search and navigate the web.
