JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible to interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements to plan layouts. Will have to be able to weld small and large components.

Maintenance Welder performs welding in the repair, maintenance, fabrication, and modification of industrial equipment and establishments. Also, they diagnose and repair a variety of metal work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
• Sourcing the materials to be used in the project
• Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
• Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
• Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.
• Focused on resources and goals of the AN team
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools.

• Ability to be thorough and pay attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS NEEDED:

• Knowledge of welding techniques (STICK preferred)
• Ability to work well with others
• Regular attendance and being on time are a must.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Welding experience in a related industry.
• Extensive knowledge of product specifications and production standards.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
