Job Summary

The Senior Enterprise Business Analyst reviews and analyzes the needs of business partners, translating them into clear requirements for functional design and vendor evaluations. Responsibilities include developing documentation, facilitating communication between stakeholders and IT, and supporting systems development, process improvement, or organizational change. This role manages multiple enterprise initiatives requirements assignments and may mentor a group of analysts on strategic initiatives, ensuring quality outcomes. The incumbent in this role is expected to build deep business expertise and serve as a subject matter expert. Essential Job Functions
  • Engages with EDO, business partners, clients and other stakeholders to document business needs, analyzes processes, write rules and user stories, and work cross functionally with other teams and vendors to define short & long-terms solutions, objectives, metrics, and build/buy choices. Manages stakeholder expectations, confidently engaging senior leadership, vendors, and clients. - (45%)
  • Participates in exploration of new ideas and strategic direction as needed. Identifies key roles, business processes, impacted business rules, plan division of requirements work, and communicate effectively to stakeholders. Follows documentation standards and BA lifecycle templates. - (25%)
  • Contributes in process improvement by documenting and analyzing business processes, identifying gaps with business teams, and solving problems involving people, processes, or technology. May assist with business roadmap development. Manages preliminary cost/benefit analysis, needs assessments, and business requirements to align solutions with business needs. - (20%)
  • Mentors less experience business analysts in standard methodologies and best practices as part of maturing the business analysis practice. Assists Manager/Sr. Manager with developing and maintaining business analysis practices and standards. - (10%)

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Business Systems Analyst, or Project Manager

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science or other related field of study
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  • Product Owner certification
  • 7+ years experience in financial services, credit card or other highly regulated industry. Digital, Fraud/Risk, Regulatory and Intermediate-Advanced Agile techniques.

Work Environment
  • Normal office environment. (Remote or Hybrid), 3 to 4 days per month are required in office if within 60 miles of a posted Bread Financial location.

Salary Range (unless otherwise noted below):

$87,900.00 - $159,200.00

Full Salary Range for position:

California: $101,000.00 - $198,900.00 Colorado: $87,900.00 - $167,100.00 New York: $96,600.00 - $198,900.00 Washington: $92,200.00 - $183,000.00 Maryland: $92,200.00 - $175,100.00 Washington DC: $101,000.00 - $183,000.00 Illinois: $87,900.00 - $175,100.00 New Jersey: $101,000.00 - $183,000.00 Vermont: $87,900.00 - $159,200.00

The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.

Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financials 401(k) plan.

All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.

Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
