A well-established supplier in the building materials industry is actively seeking experienced Haul Truck Operators to join their Rockville, MD quarry team. The Role

You’ll be responsible for safely transporting raw materials—like gravel, stone, and aggregates—across an active quarry site. This is a hands-on role that supports production flow and requires a strong focus on equipment operation and on-site safety.

Your Day-to-Day

• Operate haul trucks to move materials within the quarry.

• Conduct daily equipment checks before and after use.

• Follow all safety guidelines and traffic protocols on site.

• Coordinate with team members to load/unload efficiently.

• Keep equipment clean and report any mechanical concerns.

• Monitor fluid levels and performance indicators during use.

• Pitch in with general site labor when required.

• Maintain a strong safety mindset across all tasks.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience operating heavy equipment—haul trucks, loaders, dozers.

• CDL not required, but relevant operating experience is a must.

• Solid understanding of safety practices in an industrial environment.

• Strong attendance record and a reliable work ethic.

• Ability to identify equipment issues early and take action.

• Clear communicator who works well with others on-site.

• Willingness to work in various weather and production conditions.

Note: Compliance with PPE requirements is essential. This includes passing respirator fit testing, which requires being clean-shaven where the seal meets the face.
