Financial Analyst
Location : Remote (Preference for Central Time Zone; Eastern considered) Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM CT Salary: $85,000 (Negotiable)
Position Overview:We are seeking a driven and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support key business initiatives by providing insightful financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations. Youll collaborate closely with finance and operational leaders to enhance decision-making and performance across the organization. This is a remote position with minimal travel (a few times per year).
Key Responsibilities:Prepare monthly management reports with insightful commentary and actionable analysis
Perform detailed analysis of income statements, expense trends, and key business metrics
Collect, analyze, and present financial data to support understanding of operational performance
Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor financial results
Drive standardization and consistency across all reporting and metrics
Build strong cross-functional relationships with internal finance and business partners
Collaborate with field and corporate leaders to develop meaningful reports for decision-making
Support quarterly and annual forecasting and budgeting processes
Prepare materials for leadership meetings, including executive and board-level presentations
Assist with tracking of investments and projects across various departments
- Ensure accuracy of all financial reporting and data integrity
Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting
5+ years of relevant experience; preference for candidates who are independent, proactive, and can manage projects with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills; able to explain financial concepts to non-finance audiences
Collaborative team player with the ability to adapt to diverse personalities and working styles
Highly motivated, intellectually curious, and analytical
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
Experience with Oracle, ISERVE, and/or Avatar is a plus, but not required
Demonstrated eagerness to grow and succeed in the role
