Job Description Job Description Tacoma Energy is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join our Finals Quality Control Team (QCT). This role is central to ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of energy inspectionswork that directly impacts building code compliance for builders and improves the energy performance of homes for buyers. We are hiring immediately for a motivated individual who thrives on detail, accuracy, and problem-solving. Full training on software and energy standards will be provided. Primary Responsibilities Work collaboratively with the QCT team to meet daily and weekly goals. Review construction plans and inspection data (training provided). Perform energy simulations using Ekotrope (training provided). Access digital files from builder websites and upload to Tacoma's system. Verify and cross-check data Review reports for missing or incorrect information, research and resolve discrepancies. Maintain accurate documentation and upload supporting. Provide updates to management verbally and in writing. Complete additional administrative tasks as needed. Requirements & Qualifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy (critical for compliance and certifications). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Highly motivated, dependable, and hard-working. Aptitude for problem-solving and proactively addressing issues. (not required): Ability to read and interpret construction plans. Familiarity with energy modeling or quality control processes.
