Sheeter Operator Graphic Packaging International of Sioux Falls Groveport, OH Posted/Updated: Today Job Description Graphic Packaging InternationalSheeter Operator$19 - $2412-hour Mill Shift Schedule Duties and ResponsibilitiesSafely perform the following operations and demonstrate, by meeting production standards, your capability to perform the operations during continuous production.Safely and effectively operate Marquip sheeter at targeted speeds and production output requirements.Operate machine controls and operation; including conveyor system at delivery, job changeovers, resetting of cutting knife, make ready and run of production jobs, daily and basic maintenance of equipment, knife changes and oversight of work performed by Roll Tender.Adherence to and verification of quality specifications for products produced.Machine setup and troubleshooting to determine and eliminate barriers that impact production.Machine preventative maintenance.Provide leadership, guidance and training to fellow crew membersLearn fundamentals of printingLearn fundamentals of sheeter operationMaintain clean and organized work areaAttend training programs to further development in positionPerform duties and responsibilities of Roll Tender as needed:Set up and operate roll standOrganize and maintain roll stock for both pressesMaintain accurate records of allocated boardMaintain clean and organized work areaOrganizational RelationshipsWarehouseCustomersSalesPre-pressManagementQuality ControlKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesBasic printing comprehensionGood communication skillsAbility to troubleshootAbility to train new team membersGeneral Math skillsEducation and ExperienceHigh School/GED diplomaExperience in machine operation, set up and maintenance.Working ConditionsAbility to operate clamp truck and forkliftAbility to lift 50 lbs.Ability to move up to 3000 lb. rollsAbility to do repetitive workAbility to work 12-hr. work shiftAbility to stand for up to 12 hours
