Responsibilities:

• Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning correctly.
• Perform routine checks, cleaning, and lubrication on machinery to prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems on a variety of equipment.
• Design and fabricate parts or tools as needed for repairs and upgrades.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance and repair work, often using a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Work with other technicians, production teams, and other departments to address issues and meet production targets.
• Exercise use of technical skills including knowledge of manufacturing automation, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, electrical, welding and HVAC.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience with plastic injection presses by Engel and Arburg is preferred.
• Experience with maintenance and repair activities for a variety of auxilliary support equipment.
• Must be able to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.
• Must be forklift trained or willing to learn.
• Must be comfortable in a manufacturing environment.
