Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst to support the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of our Human Resources Information System (UKG). In this role, you’ll serve as the subject matter expert on HR systems and data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You’ll collaborate across HR, IT, payroll, and operations to automate processes, enhance reporting, and deliver insights that enable better decision-making and improve the employee experience.

This is an onsite position in either Vancouver, WA or El Segundo, CA

Key Responsibilities

System Administration & Data Integrity

  • Manage employee lifecycle transactions (hires, terminations, job changes) within the UKG system.
  • Ensure HRIS data accuracy and integrity through routine audits, maintenance, and process controls.
  • Configure, implement, and administer system modules and workflows to align with organizational needs.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and escalate to vendors as needed.
  • Maintain system documentation, workflows, and procedures to support compliance and consistency.

Reporting, Analytics & Compliance

  • Develop and deliver standard and custom HR reports, dashboards, and analytics for HR and leadership.
  • Perform audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements (FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, etc.).
  • Provide data insights that support HR strategy, workforce planning, and process improvement.

Process Optimization & Collaboration

  • Partner with HR, payroll, IT, and operations teams to streamline and automate HR processes, including onboarding, benefits, performance management, and employee self-service.
  • Support HR technology projects such as upgrades, integrations, and new module implementations.
  • Lead or assist in training HR team members and end users on system functionality and best practices.
  • Oversee provider (Doctor) onboarding and approval workflows, ensuring data security and timely processing.
  • Serve as back-up to HR/HRIS Administration on assigned deliverables.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of HRIS administration experience, preferably in a multi-site or healthcare organization.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as UKG (strongly preferred), Workday, Oracle, or SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Proven experience with HR systems implementation and project management.

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced Excel and data analytics skills (pivot tables, importing/exporting data files).
  • Strong partnering, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding of HR processes and compliance requirements.
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and commitment to data integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HRIS or HR certification (e.g., UKG Pro Certification, Workday Pro, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent).
  • Experience with system integrations and API connections.
  • Background in change management and training delivery.

Pay Range

  • $85,000 - $90,000
